1971----1975 pupil of the middle school in Shanghang county, Fujian Province
1975----1978 farm worker in mountain village of Shanghang county, Fujian Province
1978----1982 student of the department of geology Foochow university, Fujian Province, obtained the diploma of bachelor's degree in Jan.1982. Fulfil a thesis about the marine volcanic genesis of lead-zinc ore deposits in Liancheng county, Fujian province.
1982----1985 postgraduate of Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, obtained the diploma of master's degree in Jan. 1985. The title of master’s thesis is “Geological Characteristics of Copper Mineralization, Jiujiang-Ruichang Area, Jiangxi Province, China”
1985----1988 candidate of doctor in the University of Geological Sciences Beijing, got the diploma of doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sept. 1988. The Ph.D. thesis is “Researches on Ore-Forming Tectonic Dynamics of Fankou Lead-Zinc Ore Deposits, Guangdong Province, China”
1988----1993 associate professor of the division of minerogenetic regionalization of Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. My researches are focused in Hetai ductile shear zone gold deposits in Guangdong province.
1993----1994 Postdoctoral researcher (visiting scholar) in the superior college of the mine Saint-Etienne France (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne), doing researches on the geological features of Salsigne and Bourneix gold deposits in France.
1994.8---- Professor (Senior research fellow) of the Institute of Geology of Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. Use to do some researches and explorations focused on gold deposits in types of greenstone and ductile shear zone (mylonite) in China and all over the world.
From 1996, I have spent a lot of time to do the exploration in many Joint-Venture Companies, such as assistant the exploration activities in China of CanAsia Minex Inc., Link Mineral Ventures Ltd, Minco (Mining & Metal Corporation) of Canada; Pasminco Exploration, Quantum Resources Limited of Australia, Mundoro Mining Inc. etc. and going abroad in Centre Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, Congo (Kinshasa), Mongolia, Russia, Madagasgar, Maurice, Zimbabuwe to do the exploration of gold, diamond, manganese, copper, nickel, chromite, platinum, cobalt and tantalite for China National Geological & Mining Corporation, China Geo-Engineering Corporation, China National Geological & Mining Corporation, China National Gold Corporation, China North Industries Corporation (NorinCo), Zijin (Purple Mountain) mining group company etc.
Since 2007, I have been taken part in the missions of applying and revaluation of Taining Danxia World Natural Heritage, Taining Global Geopark and Ningde Global Geopark in Fujian Province, Tianzhushan Global Geopark in Anhui Province, China. In summer of 2015, I have fulfilled the mission revaluation of English Riviera Global Geopark in U.K with Dr. Jutta Weber (Genmany).
