Main research fields: He likes the wildlife, good at mapping. He takes all geological research as mapping: he once inferred through the mineral reaction mapping under the microscope mineral interaction in metamorphic process (Sulu HP-UHP metamorphic rocks), through the line, investigated and understood orogenic tectonic style of temporal and spatial variation, decomposition of deformation and strain distribution (Tianshan), used the regional mapping to reveal shrinkage strain and superposition of tectonic styles (Dalian). An attempt will be made to sort out the synsedimentary deformation of orogenic basins (southwest Sanjiang) by regional mapping: their tectonic styles and temporal and spatial variations, and their association with low temperature polymetallic deposits. He has published many papers In JMG, JSG, TECTONICS, GASB and other professional journals.
