Main research fields:Isotopic geochronology and petrology. He has directed and participated in six National Natural Science Foundation of Chinaprojects and directed a special project of the Ministry of Land and Resources. The research fields involve the Precambrian metamorphic basement, the reconstruction of Columbia super continent, Central Asian orogenic belt, Qinling Mountains orogenic belt and Sanjiang Tethyan orogenic evolution of tectonic magmatic belt, SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of young geological body, xenotime, rutile, and other baddeleyite containing U auxiliary mineral. A total of more than 80 papers have been published (more than 20 ones as the first author).
