Main research fields: Tectonic geology, tectonic activity; research direction: the Qinghai Tibetan Plateau strike slip fault and plateau deformation; active faults and tectonic geomorphology; faulting; seismic geology and earthquake physics; basin dynamics; soft sediment deformation structure; the relationship between earthquake and oil and gas. Main research areas: Qinghai Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent areas. He has undertaken 20 plus projects of national natural science foundation, national key development program (973 Program), national science and technology support projects, international cooperation projects, national land resource survey project and oil sector projects. He has been selected national talents program, and special government allowance. He has won 1 second class of National Natural Science, 1 first class and 1 second class of scientific and technological achievement of the ministry of land and resources, 2 second class of scientific and technological achievements of the ministry of Geology and mineral resources 2. There are more than 170 papers published in the core journals at home and abroad, including 92 papers in SCI and 5 monographs in cooperative publishing.
